The Volta Regional capital of Ho will host the 66th Independence Day celebrations in Ghana today, March 6.
For the event, numerous Ghanaians and foreign dignitaries are anticipated to be in Ho.
The Special Guest of Honor is Umaro Sissoco Embaló, President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
The event will have the following theme: Our purpose, our unity, and our strength.
At the event, President Nan Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is also expected to address the nation.
