Twenty-seven of the 49 students at Ejuraman Anglican SHS who were hospitalized after the dining hall collapsed on them have been discharged from the Ejura Government Hospital. This is more than half of the students.
Monday night's downpour caused the structure to collapse. all but one of the students are in good health. A female student's leg fracture is the only serious case recorded. The student will receive additional treatment at the Jamasi Government Hospital.
Tuesday morning, three additional school students were rushed to the Ejura Government Hospital for treatment. 49 students were admitted to the hospital as a result of this. With the return of academic activities, calm has returned to the school. Already on the ground, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) is assessing the damage and offering possible assistance.
